Cityheart and Wigan Council have broken ground at the £135 million Galleries shopping centre redevelopment scheme in the heart of Wigan town centre. Appointed contractor, BCEGI has started work on site commencing with the demolition of the carpark bridge.
Wigan Council has appointed PlaceCo to advise on the transition of Wigan Market as part of the wider Galleries redevelopment in Wigan town centre, to help with the move to the town’s new Market Hall that will include markets, retail, food and leisure.
